Meet Miss Maggie

Hi! I’m Miss Maggie!

While completing a degree in human development at BYU, I fell in love with teaching preschoolers and began dreaming of running my own private home-based preschool. I opened Miss Maggie’s Preschool in 2015 in El Paso, Texas. In the midst of the pandemic we made the cross-country move to Indiana and love it here!

I love working with preschoolers and seeing them grow by leaps and bounds in just a few short years. It is such a magical age! Being a part of a child’s first experience with schooling is a privilege for me.

I’m a proud mom of three amazing kids and two lovable dogs. A few years ago, I lost my husband to pancreatic cancer. Our twins are our little IVF miracles and we feel incredibly blessed to have them in our lives.

In my free time, I love doing a new puzzle, working on an embroidery project, or taking my time to browse at Target or Home Goods. I love searching for new picture books that will be perfect to share with my kids or preschoolers. If it is possible to own too many books— I might just fall into that category! I also enjoy anything related to organization, like color-coding and labeling everything!
